left column. In the middle column scroll down and click on to

Is your floristry school recognised?
ANSWER:
Our school is recognised through the International Accreditation and
Recognition Council (IARC). This is an International Education
Recognition System with participating colleges and universities in many
countries throughout the world.
Floral Art School of Australia and International Floral Design School
was established in 1972. We have taught thousands of students from many
different countries all around the world. Many of our students have
found a position as a florist, opened their own florist shop or work
from home. Other students enroll in the course for their own enjoyment
and personal satisfaction.
QUESTION 4:
Will I be able to get a job in a florist shop?
ANSWER:
Many of our students have found a job in the floristry industry. You
will need to be able to make up attractive floral designs and be a
fairly quick worker. Starting a career in the floristry industry is
fully explained in the Second Term Manual in our Floristry Diploma
Course.
QUESTION 5:
How long does it take to complete the floristry course?
ANSWER:
You have up to eighteen months to complete the full correspondence
course of three terms. You can also complete the course in much less
time. Many of our students complete the course in six to nine months or
less time. When you finish one lesson, you can start the next. One of
the
advantages of the Floristry Correspondence Course, is that you can work
at your
own pace in the comfort of your own home.

What kind of support will I get?
ANSWER:
We are here to help you. You are welcome to e-mail or post in photos of
your lessons.
Fay Chamoun, the Principal of the school has had over 36 years in the
floristry industry and will work with you personally on a one to
one basis and advise you on your progress and offer
helpful suggestions if needed. You can contact Fay with any questions
you have during the course, and she will answer you personally.
This kind of personal support, will really help you with your
floral
designing.
